I work from home everyday and it can be distracting. My hubby or mum is looking after Olivia and I inevitably get caught up in whatever they are doing. I hear Olivia getting upset so I go to tend to it, knowing full well that mum or hubby is quite capable. I think it might be a case of mummy FOMO. I don’t want to miss out on anything that she is doing! I have tried playing music and closing the door to block out the noise but I had never thought of using headphones before to block out the noise.
The lovely people at Griffin sent me a pair of WoodTones Over-The-Ear Headphones to review and I have to say I love them. I have a big head but the headphones sit comfortably which is rare. The ear piece is so soft and doesn’t push on my ears at all. I hate the feeling of having ear buds sitting in my ear for any length of time but these are perfect as they sit over the ear. They block out all the external noise also so I get interrupted far less often.
You know me, I like pretty things, and the WoodTones are a sleek looking product. The wooden housings are made from either Walnut, Sapele or Beech (the ones I reviewed re Beech) giving them a sophisticated look. The sounds quality is also amazing. No crackling or cutting out and from a functionality perspective I love the built-in mic so that I can answer calls while listening to my music.
They are quite a unisex product and would be perfect for the men in your life. With Father’s Day just around the corner this is the perfect gift for a funky dad who enjoys his music. A set will cost you $99.99 and you can purchase from the Griffin website.
Have you tried a pair of WoodTones Over-The-Ear Headphones? Did you like them?
