16 non-chocolate advent calendars for Christmas 2017

Whether it is because of allergies or just a desire to feed your kids less sugar, non-chocolate advent calendars are becoming increasingly popular.

In our Christmas gift guide this year we featured Little Advent Boxes, super cute advent calendars that can be reused year after year for a beautiful family tradition. I love that you can choose to fill the boxes with your own goodies or purchase filler packs from the Little Advent Boxes website.

I know how popular non-chocolate advent calendars are so I went on a search to see what else I could uncover. The 15 advent calendars below were my absolute favourites from a vast sea of alternative advent calendar options. Enjoy!
