Whether you are shopping for Christmas, birthday or Father’s Day gifts, I always find buying gifts for dad or hubby to be the hardest presents of all. Usually when I ask my dad or hubby what they want I get some vague response about not needing anything or “just buy me Bunnings vouchers so I can do things around the house”. Vouchers just aren’t me and I like to put a little thought into what I buy the special people in my life. After all, they do so much for me and mean the world to me.

So rather than trawling the local shopping centre, here are 10 online options packed with unique gifts for dad. You are sure to find something at one of these stores to suit.

Beard and Blade

This is more of a niche gift for the dad who has a beard and wears it with pride. Beard and Blade sell a range of men’s grooming products from around the world. They have some lovely gift sets or you can just choose something to suit the man in your life from their large product range.

I can’t talk gifts and not mention Etsy! If you want a unique or personalised gift, this is the place to find it. Buy from sellers located around the world or keep your shopping local by searching Australian shops only.¬†Once you shop with Etsy you will never look back!

It’s not the first time I’ve raved about Uberkate and it won’t be the last! Normally I’m crushing on their Ubercircles and other gorgeous jewellery for women but they also have an equally amazing line for men. There are rings, keyrings, cufflinks, cuffs and leather jewellery, all personalised with family names/dates.

Homegrown Gifts

Amy at Homegrown Gifts has done an amazing job of curating some of the most gorgeous gift baskets around. Perfect for foodie dads the boxes contain beer, wine and gourmet food as well as leather and stationery options.

This is an idea a little more left of field, but a membership with Ancestry is the perfect gift idea for dads who are interested in finding out more about their family history. They also have a really cool product called AncestryDNA which allows you to uncover your ethnic mix. It’s amazing what is available to us these days!

If you have a bookworm on your hands, Booktopia is a great place to head to find something new for him to read. They sell eBooks, audio books and old fashioned paper books across a huge range of titles with relatively fast shipping available.

I don’t know if it is something about boys and their toys but my husband loves Kogan. And to be honest, over the years we have picked up some super deals on the site. They sell so much more than electronics and there are always good deals and prices available.

This is a budget friendly option, particulalry suited to dads who like gadgets and gizmos. I would also say this is a go to when the kids want to buy dad a little something with their pocket money. There are some cute mugs, fun t-shirts and cool games as well as some items that fall on the ruder side.
