Yesterday I took Olivia and my mum on a little outing to see Disney on Ice “Dare to Dream”. Mum was there for reinforcement and some Grandma power! Taking an 18-month-old out can be trying to say the least, let alone to watch a show where they have to sit still for 90 minutes!
It was such an enjoyable experience. Olivia clapped along with the rest of the audience at the end of each song and was mesmerised by the amazing aerial silk performance and the gorgeous gowns worn by the Princesses. She did get restless towards the end but I will forgive her that. It is a long time to sit still for such a little person! The older kids in the audience were captivated and there were lots of babies soundly sleeping amidst the excitement.
Tickets are still available but you will have to get in fast as the show is finishing up in Sydney this weekend. You can find more information about Disney on Ice and ticket availability here.
While I was at Disney on Ice I was quite taken with all the gorgeous Prince and Princess costumes worn by the little (and big!) audience members. So I browsed through Etsy to find some fun Prince and Princess dress ups and other fun things.

** I love Etsy, yes I do! And that is why I joined their affiliate program. The links in this post are affiliate links but you can be assured that I spent over an hour researching the best of the best and would never recommend anything that I wouldn’t buy for myself or my family.
