The tree is up, Santa photos are underway and the postman is working extra hard with those extra deliveries so that must mean that Christmas is well and truly on its way. Christmas 2012 style is made more fun with the masses of apps available to organize, celebrate, time waste and add a different type of Christmas spirit. I have tracked down four which will make you jingle all the way to Christmas Day

1. The Christmas List

Gone are the days of paper lists and enter the world of managing your Christmas shopping app-style. The Christmas List allows you to create groups of people, set budgets for individuals and track spending against a budget. You can also add a pass code so no snooping family members find out what they are getting under the tree. At only $0.99, the convenience of having your list handy wherever you go is worth it.

2. Sing Along to 50+ Christmas Carols

More than 50 karaoke style Christmas Carols are at your fingertips with this app to have a sing along Christmas. From Jingle Bells to The First Noel all your favorite carols are there. For just $5.49 it will provide you with some fun with the kids in the lead up to Christmas.

3. Christmas Coloring Book

A great little free app providing a stack of coloring in pages for the kids. There is a tool which helps with colouring between the lines which is good for younger ones. You can also capture the image of the colouring in page which means you could use them as Christmas cards or as gifts themselves.

4. Good Food Christmas Food

Make your preparations for Christmas day a little easier with the Good Food Christmas Food app for only $6.49. Including starters, puddings, sides, cakes and much more you will be inspired to create a beautiful menu for your Christmas celebrations.
