Depending on where you live in Australia, school could be back as early as next week. One of the best things about back-to-school time is shopping for the kid’s new stationery and school needs. Rather than hitting the same old shops this year we have found three stores you may not have thought of for your back-to-school shopping.
If you have ever travelled to Japan you will know the fun of shopping in a Daiso store. With 16 stores throughout NSW, Victoria and Queensland, you can pick up just about anything, including your back-to-school essentials all for only $2.80 each. You name it and Daiso has it! There’s notebooks, diaries, pens, pencils, pencil holders, pencil tins and cases, heaps of cute erasers, coloured clips, lunchboxes, water bottles, scissors, calculators, binders and document holders, school bags and lots more. And did we mention it is all just $2.80? To find your nearest Daiso store visit the Daiso website.
2. Pottery Barn Kids
Pottery Barn only landed in Australia last year and has already become a favourite shopping destination of mine. From their online store you can purchase a great range of backpacks, lunch bags and other food storage containers perfect for school lunches. If you are able to shop at their Bondi Junction store you can also have select items personalised for added fun. The kids will love the range, and this is a particular must see for any Star Wars, Spider-Man or Batman fans with a licensed range across back-to-school. Visit the website to buy online or to find details of the Bondi Junction store location.
While you may have Lark on your must visit list for unique gifts and party supplies, they also have a super cool back-to-school range. With library bags, lunchboxes, stationery, backpacks and more, the range features all the cute, vintage quirkiness you would expect from Lark. A must check out item is the MoTex Embossing Label Maker. It will bring back memories from when you were a kid and you will probably find yourself labelling everything around the house just so you can use it. Head to the website to get started with your shopping.
