I was recently sent a gorgeous pair of Frankie4 NiNA sneakers to review and much to my delight they are probably the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever worn. Seriously, these shoes are amazing. You can adjust the foot bed depending on how wide your feet are and they are just so soft and gentle on my poor tired mummy feet.

Before kids, the only time I ever wore sneakers was when I was going to the gym. I always wore skirts and dresses with high heels or cute flats. But these days I’m more likely found wearing comfy clothes I can chase after Olivia in but I hadn’t yet embraced the sneaker. So with my new love of my NiNA sneakers I pulled together three looks that you can team with sneakers for stylish school runs and practical everyday mum wear.

Frankie4 NiNA with cropped denim - sneaker style

This is my ultimate laid back and casual mum look. I love a loose fitted t-shirt and my JAG jeans are my favourite wardrobe staple. As the weather gets warmer you can also achieve these looks with a mid-calf pant or even a pair of shorts. As the sneakers I have are blue I have kept the colours neutral and in the same tones as the shoe. If you happened to have the ELLiE in Silver you could go a bit brighter and more out there with colours.

I am wearing: Emerson black and white stripe tee from Big W; High rise slim straight jeans from JAG; NiNA sneaker from Frankie4

Frankie4 NiNA with black jeans - sneaker style

This is a dressier casual look than the cropped denim and probably the look I wear most for heading out for coffee or a day at the shops. In colder weather you can pop a long sleeve shirt under the cardigan or even wear a heavier waterfall cardigan. A slim/straight leg jean will be most flattering with a pair of sneakers.

I am wearing: Drape cardigan in dark charcoal from Sussan; Classic comfy v-neck tee in white from Peter Alexander; Ubercircles necklace from Uberkate; High rise slim straight black jeans from JAG; NiNA sneaker from Frankie4

Frankie4 NiNA with maxi skirt - sneaker style

I love this look for school pick up or it would also be really great with younger kids at home or playgroup when you need to be crawling around on the floor a lot.

I am wearing: Maxi skirt (summer 2013) from SES; Blue batwing jumper (winter 2014) from Target; NiNA sneaker from Frankie4
